We are please to announce that Balbi Golf has been appointed an official Fitting Center by EDEL GOLF, makers of the finest custom putters, including the revolutionary new VariLoft Putter series.

The VariLoft features interchangeable weights and faces to fit the prevailing course conditions. Just a few minutes on the practice green will allow you to set up your putter for the day or make critical changes between the first and second round.

If you don't have a fitted putter you are wasting strokes every time you play.
Putting That’s Fit For You

The Edel Putter Fitting process begins with this basic but crucial truth: everyone sees differently. Each golfer relies on his or her eyes to set up a putt, and most people—even PGA players—have imperfect visual aim. And all the quirky putter designs in the world don’t change the fact that every putter stroke starts with an individual set of eyes.
So the Edel Putter Fitting process begins with an analysis of your visual aim. Then it uses a unique system of up to 30 million variables—head, hosel, offset, lie angle and more—to specify a putter that will give you true aim. The result is a hand-crafted, completely personalized putter that fits you perfectly.

Step 1: Assessment
The first step is to assess your aim. You aim at the target—a small laser projector. When the ball is removed, the laser beam reflects off a mirrored putter face. The reflected beam projects onto a wall, showing the difference between your aim and the actual target.

Step 2: Personalization
Once your aim is determined, the instructor uses the Edel Putter Fitting tool kit, a unique system of up to 30 million component combinations – different heads, hosels, offsets, lie angles and more – to find the combination that corrects for your natural aim.

Step 3: Creating the putter
Once the right combination is found, David Edel uses the information to hand-craft a beautiful custom putter that’s a perfect fit for you. He uses a combination of old-fashioned craftsmanship and modern technology to create a putter that feels right, looks great, and is customized with your name.
